Whether it’s a team event, conference, seminar or meeting – the football atmosphere sparks an immediate sense of energy among guests, clients and employees. At the same time, the venue offers event options for 20 to 800 people – from focused meetings to exclusive evening events.
Why the FIFA Museum is a strong venue for corporate events
If content is meant to be not just delivered but truly remembered, you need a setting that captures attention and makes interaction easy. That’s exactly what the FIFA Museum delivers: it is centrally located in Zurich and offers a unique ambience that works just as well for business formats as it does for celebrations.
The second advantage is the clear structure of the spaces: there are rooms for classic plenary sessions, for seminars and breakouts, for hospitality, and for emotional evening formats – without your event feeling like a “standard conference hotel”.
Which event spaces suit which format?
Plenary & stage: the Arena
For keynote talks, assemblies, congresses or conferences, the Arena is one of the strongest options. It combines a stage, large screens and stadium-style seating – creating exactly the setting that makes presentations stand out and supports discussions. Capacity: up to 140 people.
Seminars, trainings & hybrid formats: Maracanã and Wembley
For focused formats, Maracanã and Wembley are the right rooms. Maracanã is a large seminar room for up to 75 people and equipped with state-of-the-art audio and video technology – including suitability for hybrid event formats. Wembley is smaller, ideal for concentrated sessions with up to 20 people. Both rooms can be combined, enabling setups for up to 100 people depending on the configuration.
Dinner & aperitif: World Cup Lounge, Champions Lounge and The Terrace
When culinary experiences and networking take centre stage, the FIFA Museum really plays to its hospitality strengths. The World Cup Lounge is designed for dinners and business lunches – featuring the World Cup Bar, a striking ceiling fresco and a terrace overlooking Tessinerplatz (up to 120 people, catering).
The Champions Lounge offers an elegant lounge feel and is ideal for aperitifs, business dinners, as well as presentations or product showcases (up to 70 people).
For summer parties, The Terrace is the obvious choice: corporate celebrations and aperitif receptions under the open sky, with catering (up to 100 people, catering).
Evening events with a “wow moment”: The Rainbow
If you want an emotional highlight for the evening, plan in The Rainbow. It features the national jerseys of all 211 FIFA member associations and is perfect for atmospheric evening events (up to 250 people).
Large-scale & exclusive: Rent a Museum
For a truly grand entrance, you can rent the entire museum – up to 800 people, and if desired outside regular opening hours. Ideal if you want to stage a client event, an annual celebration or a large employee event as a defining brand moment.
Side programmes that make your meeting noticeably better
The difference between a “good event” and an event people talk about often lies in the transitions: kick-off, energy after lunch, a shared finale. The FIFA Museum offers several side programmes designed exactly for these moments.
A tailor-made guided tour is the classic start: experience the story of football as a shared narrative – either as a themed tour or as a VIP tour with former Swiss football legends.
If you want activation, choose Pinball – the walk-in pinball experience where teams test their ball skills; particularly attractive is the combination of a tour followed by a Pinball challenge.
A lively activation format is the FIFA Museum Football Quiz: ideal as a morning kick-off, as an energy boost after lunch, or as a relaxed closing moment.
For informal team-building, table football is a great fit – up to three foosball tables, and on request even as an internal “foosball world championship”.
And if you’re after a high-score moment, the Virtual Soccer Zone is exciting: in the “Header” and “Goalkeeper” modes, teams compete for points – no prior experience required.
For an especially prominent twist, there are the Zubi specials with Pascal Zuberbühler as well as an exclusive tour with Prisca Steinegger. In addition, a live analysis of a match of your choice is possible – exclusively in the Champions Lounge reserved for your guests, hosted by Zuberbühler and Steinegger.
The museum also offers speakers from the world of football (including Urs Meier, Benjamin Huggel, Bernhard Heusler, Andy Egli) – with topics around leadership, fair play, motivation and teamwork.
Event highlights: ready-made formats that work instantly
If you’re looking for a fixed event template, the FIFA Museum offers concrete highlights:
Christmas parties are positioned as a team experience “in the heart of the world of football” – a setting that works without extra show because the venue itself is the experience.
For 2026, there are also World Cup packages for the FIFA World Cup 2: featuring live screenings of selected matches, culinary experiences inspired by the USA, Canada and Mexico, plus entertainment such as a museum visit and a World Cup quiz.
And for classic business formats, day-meeting packages (half-day or full-day, from 20 people) take centre stage – an “everything from one source” concept including room rental, standard AV, catering, staff and museum admission on the event day.
What your agenda could look like – without “programme stress”
Imagine a full-day workshop like this: arrival and a short welcome, then a compact plenary in the Arena, breakouts in Maracanã/Wembley, after lunch a quiz or VR high-score challenge as an energiser – and in the evening an aperitif in the Champions Lounge or a dinner in the World Cup Lounge with terrace. For large groups, moving into The Rainbow can provide the emotional finale. The modules are designed so transitions stay easy to plan and the energy holds throughout the day.
