For a long time, the organizers of The Circle Conference were anxious whether the event could be held at all. After countless phone calls, drawing up strict protection concepts and practicing patience, the green light was finally given. And so, on July 1, 2021, Switzerland's first major event, with the number 01-2021, went over the stage. With live audience, live speakers and live exhibitors.
The Circle Conference - The MICE industry is back
Over 70 exhibitors were represented, including hotels, locations, tourism destinations and service providers from the MICE sector. More than 800 visitors experienced the relaunch of the meetings and events industry at The Circle Convention Center, for which it was also a premiere of such an event. Since all exhibitors and participants were registered, as well as vaccinated, recovered or tested, the mask requirement was even allowed to be waived indoors. The visitors visibly enjoyed the personal exchange and intensive discussions.
A varied stage program, moderated by Florian Inhauser, ensured a constantly full Convention Hall. The innovative workshops by Schoscho Rufener and Reto Wampfler were also well attended.
Finally, events are possible again. Adhering to a rigorous protection concept, The Circle Conference at Zurich Airport was a successful relaunch after an exceptional year of forced break.
